The 3.5" Cross Minnow is a straight-up fish catcher, built to fool pressured bass into thinking it’s an easy target. Purpose-built for Damiki Rigging, Hover Strolling, or any FFS-style technique, this bait shines when the bite is tough and every little detail matters. Rig it on a dropshot and it flat-out produces, or twitch it across the surface for a deadly, erratic topwater action that mimics a fleeing baitfish in full panic mode.
There are countless ways to rig and fish it — the Cross Minnow excels on a Damiki Rig, Hover Strolling, Dropshot, Topwater Twitch, Ball Head Jig, Underspin Trailer, Scrounger Head, Ned Rig, Neko Rig, Spinnerbait Trailer, or Micro Chatterbait Trailer. No matter how you rig it, this bait delivers the perfect mix of action and realism to trigger even the most finicky bass.
One of our standout color options, Threadfin Shad, is designed to perfectly “match the hatch” of real baitfish while adding a cutting-edge twist. Built using a new color-shift violet pearl technology, this finish produces a subtle hue change and flash underwater that mimics the iridescence of live baitfish scales. The result is a level of realism that fish simply haven’t seen before. In clear water or high-pressure situations, that natural shimmer and shifting tone give the Cross Minnow an undeniable edge—turning lookers into biters when it matters most.
Finished in our ultra-realistic “Match the Hatch” patterns, the Cross Minnow brings next-level realism and strike-triggering action to your finesse arsenal. When bass get picky, this bait brings the knockout punch.

Rigging
The ideal setup for these is a 6'10"–7' medium spinning rod paired with a 2500 series reel, spooled with 12 lb braid to a 6 lb fluorocarbon leader. Rig the Cross Minnow on an internally weighted jighead, such as our 1/8 oz Finesse Covert Rig.
Additional Rigging Options:

Top Water Twitch
Ball Head Jig

Retreive
Retreive
The ideal rig is a Damiki-style or Hover Strolling setup. The retrieve is straightforward: cast the bait, let it fall on semi-slack line to preserve its natural drop, and allow it to pendulum back toward the boat until it contacts structure or the bottom. Then, pop the rod a couple of times, take a short reel, and let it fall again on semi-slack line—repeating the process. Most bites occur during the fall.
