Our Sea Mine takes inspiration from one of the most effective underwater weapons ever deployed. During naval warfare, sea mines were strategically placed beneath the water's surface to intercept and destroy unsuspecting ships that entered their strike zone. Hidden below the surface and nearly impossible to avoid once encountered, sea mines became a powerful tool for controlling the waters.

Our Sea Mine is built around that same concept.

Designed to create an impossible-to-ignore underwater presence, The Sea Mine features a unique spiky profile and countless moving tentacles that create a target bass simply can't swim past. Whether you're targeting suspended fish with forward-facing sonar, fishing around docks, or probing offshore structure, The Sea Mine is designed to intercept bass and trigger reaction strikes from even the most pressured fish.

Constructed from ultra-durable TPE material, Our Sea Mine is built to withstand fish after fish while maintaining its shape and action. The flexible tentacles pulse, quiver, and breathe with the slightest rod movement, current, or water displacement, creating lifelike movement that resembles a variety of forage and aquatic creatures.

Unlike many competing offerings that provide only one or two baits per package, Our Sea Mine is available in multiple pack size options, giving anglers more value without sacrificing premium quality.

Features:

• Ultra-durable TPE construction
• Exceptional stretch and fish-catching longevity
• Subtle tentacle action with minimal movement
• Ideal for FFS, hover strolling, jigheads, dropshots, and finesse presentations
• Designed to trigger suspended and highly pressured bass
• Available in 10mm and 20mm sizes
• Larger pack size offerings than many competing brands

When bass enter the strike zone, the mission is simple:

Deploy The Sea Mine and let the ambush begin.

Rigging

Our favorite setup for the 10mm Sea Mine is an Owner Cover Shot Hook paired with a nail weight inserted into the body, while the larger 20mm Sea Mine pairs perfectly with an Owner Cover Shot HD Hook and a nail weight. This combination creates a natural fall while allowing the tentacles to pulse and move with the slightest water movement, making it deadly around fish relating to cover, structure, and forward-facing sonar targets.

Additional Rigging Options:
Treble Hook Rig

Nose Hooked

Wrecking Ball Head

Dropshot

Retrieve

The most effective retrieve we've found for The Sea Mine is a simple pop, pop, fall cadence. After casting, allow The Sea Mine to sink on a semi-slack line, then use one or two quick pops of the rod tip to make the bait dart, pulse, and move through the water. After each set of pops, allow the bait to fall naturally back toward the bottom.

Most strikes occur during the fall. As The Sea Mine settles, its tentacles continue to pulse and quiver with the slightest movement, creating an easy meal that bass often can't resist. Watch your line closely and be ready to set the hook at any time during the descent.

Experiment with different fall rates by adjusting your nail weight size until you find the speed the fish prefer. In clear water and around suspended fish, slower falls often produce the most bites, while heavier nail weights can help trigger reaction strikes from deeper fish.

Rod/Reel/Line

For the 20mm Sea Mine, we prefer a medium-heavy casting rod paired with a 7.5:1 gear ratio baitcasting reel and 15 lb fluorocarbon line. This setup provides excellent casting distance, sensitivity, and the power needed to drive the hook home when fishing around cover or targeting larger bass.

For the 10mm Sea Mine, we prefer either a spinning setup or BFS setup paired with 8-10 lb line. A medium-power rod with a fast tip helps maximize casting distance while providing the sensitivity needed to detect bites that often occur during the fall.
